These three words are so pointless.
I would never….
Here are things that I said I would never do…
DATE A WOMAN WITH KIDS:
But then I did. Twice. Both were very positive experiences where I learned a lot about being unselfish. I learned about the sun and stars not revolving around me. I learned the sacrifices required to be a great parent.
STOP EATING ANIMAL PRODUCTS:
I ate meat 3 times a day — eggs, meat, meat, meat. I’ve been vegan for almost a year now. I don’t want to cause pain and suffering to innocent animals anymore.
LEAVE NEW YORK CITY:
It’s the greatest city in the world. Why would i live anywhere else? Then I moved to San Francisco. I spend several months a year living in Latin America. And when I’m here, I don’t miss New York.
I want to spend less time consumed with what I would “NEVER” do, and more time open to the unknown infinity of possibilities that exist beyond our need for control.
Where I live. What I eat. Who I fall in love with.
Because sometimes the things I used to say,
I don’t say any more.
The things that used to save me,
The lifestyle that used to define me,
And I would have never expected that.
